The Australian College of Nursing Foundation (ACNF) is delighted to offer scholarships for the Nurse Manager Leadership Program (NUMLP). The program will be held on 26-30 October 2026 in Melbourne.

Value of scholarship: Up to $5,500
Please note that this scholarship will not cover travel and or accommodation.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident in Australia.
- Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Must be a current ACN member or fellow for 6 months or more.
- Minimum of three years postgraduate nursing experience.
- Currently holds a Nurse Manager role or aspiring to a management position.
- Must be available to attend the five-day face-to-face masterclass on 26-30 October 2026, Melbourne CBD.
Applications will be assessed on:
- Demonstrate clear leadership development goals relevant to a current or aspiring Nurse Manager role.
- Articulate the anticipated impact of the Nurse Manager Leadership Program on your leadership capability and career development.
- Develop a practical plan to apply the program’s learnings within your workplace.
- Demonstrate how key learnings will be shared to strengthen leadership capability across your organisation.
- Showcase recent professional achievements in clinical, educational, leadership or academic settings.
Documents required
Applicants will be required to provide alongside their application;
- Proof of Australian citizenship or permanent resident of Australia (birth certificate, passport or visa papers)
- Current CV (detailing professional achievements in a clinical, education, leadership, or academic setting within the past two years).
- Current AHPRA nurse registration.
- A letter from your employer confirming their support to attend the program.

- What are your current leadership development goals, and how do you anticipate the Nurse Manager Leadership Program will help you achieve them?
- Describe your plan for translating the learning from this program into practice and for sharing key learnings with others to support leadership capability across your workplace.
